The NWPIC Incumbent Worker Training Program (IWTP) is a workforce training program designed to provide direct financial assistance to businesses to train current employees, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the economic competitiveness of regional businesses. The program is intended to offset a portion, via reimbursement, of the businesses' costs to train and upgrade the skills of is incumbent (existing) workers.
